Trying to locate information on Samuel Clay Newcomb. His residence is not listed. He enlisted as a Private. Believed to have had service in I Co., VA 56th Infantry. Possibly had duty in VA 44th Infantry. Born 11/18/1846 in Charlotte, VA., died 1/7/1933 in Charlotte, Va. Any help will be appreciated.
