The two men I referred to were captured Feb. 2 and the other the 18th. I have lost their names, however, it is unimportant, I was trying to see the prison paths for POWs captured in the area at around this time. Six months later, men of my ggrandfather's 43rd Tenn. were sent directly to Point Lookout, Md from Bunker Hill, WV where they were captured.

I contacted the Fort Delaware Society and they confirmed no record of Jerimiah.

There is another possibility of where he was captured as two companies of the 7th Cavalry were operating in the Petersburg area at the time.
