Re: "With Lee Through Virginia"

Duncan, sorry about the misinterpretation. I would still like to find out further about this book, if it was ever published or at what date, etc. The descendants of Graydon had advised that they were told he was mentioned in the book, but they themselves have never ever seen a copy. Graydon was supposedly in the Confederate Army, as suggested by the title of the volume WITH LEE THROUGH VIRGINIA (yet Gray, at his web site, makes the major error of stating that he was in a Union Missouri Artillery unit, without even doing the proper research - we all know that his biographies are immersed in flaws and errors). We are still unable to confirm any Confederate service of Graydon, and he was supposed to have come to Australia, from New Zealand, in February-March, 1862. It doesn't leave much of a margin for service with General Lee, anyway.
