The records contain single cards for George, Isaac, and Harrison Fultz and all note: "Cards filled with George, Isaac and Harrison Foltz, respectively.

Individual cards also exist for Joshua W. Fulkes, John Fultz, Joshua Folts. all note "Cards filled with Joshua W. Foltz.

I looked into George, Isaac and Harrison's files, they all enlisted at Woodstock in Co. K. Isaac's parole papers indicate that he may have resided at Edinburg [sic] or that may have been where he signed his parole.

Strange how the War Department compilers selected which surname to use. The parole papers for Geo, Isaac and Harrison are all annotated as Fultz!
Signatures also seem to be Fultz, however, they are not that distinct.

Others with the surname Foltz are: John E, John W., Jacob, Robert, Ralphael, and William A.

Seems most were in Co. K. Of interest, Jacob had a Roan Mare killed in action on June 21, 1863. He was paid $750 valuation on Oct. 4, 1863 as Confederate cavalryman provided their own horses and equippage. He signed his name as Foltz.

Confusing, all these kinfolk.
