My Great Granduncle was in 8th Virginia Calvary and I have just been inducted into the SCV and elected to the position of Adjutant of camp 1346 in Marianna, Florida. I want to Honor my gguncle by portraying his image in uniform. He was enlisted (Pvt) in Co K 8th Virginia Calvary. Could someone advise me of the type uniform the 8th VA Calvary wore and possibly direct me to a place where I might purchase one.
