George, you may be right in this assumption, as it is also stated that Samuel Keene's mother lived on Eighteenth Street, near Franklin. Now, I don't have any knowledge at all of the suburbs and streets of Richmond (of that era), but I would assume that, since Castle Thunder is also stated to have been along Eighteenth Street, Keene would have been sent to Oakwood Cemetery for burial, if that was the closest cemetery, especially to the home of his mother. I most certainly would like to find out his final resting place, and if it is still marked by a headstone. Such data would be included in my short article on his death (see link below).
