Re Piney Boys, you need not bother, I am in contact with these fellows. The Piney Boys name was taken from my web page based on the flag presented to Company B of the 43rd. In fact, there leader is slowly recovering with a horrific accident.

Greg Biggs found this flag at the Georgia State Museum some ten years ago.
I became acquainted with him and Shelia Graham, Textile Curator of the Tennessee Museum at a Flag Symposium at a State SCV Convention along with the late Devereaux Cannon.

What I look for are references to Vaughn's brigade ca 1864/5 as few documents exist for the 43rd during this period.
