I don't know either. I haven't seen this gravestone, but it is listed in a cemetery book I just recently got of the cemeteries in Floyd County, Va. It states the cemetery and with the initials C.B. d. 5-3-1862 Civil War Insignia on the tombstone.

I take it that tombstones weren't marked with a civil war insignia?
