is there such a thing as a single-source for Chimborazo Hospital records or are they scattered in various respositories, etc.?

I am trying to obtain some more detailed information (beyond what is on his CSRs) re the hospital stay of a certain Pvt. Elam Carr Hamilton, Co. F, 9th Alabama Infantry who was sent to Chimborazo after being wounded at Gaines Mill, VA.

In particular, I would like to know the duration of his stay and when he was released?
