Thank you so much for the diligent work to uncover information on my GG Grandfather John Ashley Boyett's grave site and thanks for the new information that two ofhis sons were also interned there. I didn't even know that they were in the war...thanks!!! We can finally lay them to rest. I did find where Ashley Boyett was in the Union Point Lookout Maryland Prison Camp until he was exchanged by the Union provost at Coxe's Landing (James River, VA) on February 13, 1865. He was then admitted to the Receiving & Wayside Hospital, General Hospital No. 9 on February 15, 1865 and then transferred the next day, February 14, 1865, to the nearby Jackson Hospital, Richmond. He was diagnosed with "Febris Int.," (Intermittent Fever). He died March 1, 1865 in Jackson Hospital.
