Looking for info an James or Gipson Cook both are the same. Served in Civil war on the confederacy side. he was supposed to been in prison at Richmond. After being released from prison supposedly had both feet amputated in Winchester Va. in 1865, maybe June any info on this man would be greatly appricated.
