He is a ancester of mine, I am from John Kirk of Giles Co. and James Emmons families of that area. both ggg-grandfathers, and Rev. War Vets.
I found Oscar Emmons grave in Pearisburg,a Sgt. in the 60th Va. CoH, I would like to put a marker on his grave in the near future, and of cousre love that area of the country.
