Soldier Graves Search...HOLLYWOOS CEMETERY Richmon

My GG Grandfather John Ashley Boyett died in the Richmond, Virginia Jackson Hospital and was buried in the Hollywood Cemetery under the name ‘A. S. Bagat' in section W, lot 580. His two oldest sons, Francis M. Boyett, Confederate Infantry 50th Regiment, Georgia Infantry Company K and William N. Boyett, Confederate Infantry 50th Regiment, Georgia Infantry Company K were interned in the Hollywood Cemetery Richmond.

Does anyone have information as to the location of Francis M. Boyett and his brother William N. Boyett of the 50th Georgia Infantry Regiment?

We have pieced together GG Grandfather John Ashley Boyett's CSA service from the day he enlisted in Quitman Georgia, to the defense and fall of Fort McAllister under the overwhelming force of Sherman's march to the sea troops, to his imprisonment at Point Lookout Union Prison Camp in Maryland, to his exchange at Coxes Landing on the James River, to his hospitalization at Jackson Hospital, to his death and burial in the Hollywood Cemetery.

Thanks for any assistance,

Sincerely,
Al Barrs
