Enlisted on 4/18/1861 as a Private.
On 4/18/1861 he mustered into "E" Co. VA 4th Infantry
He was discharged for disability on 3/10/1862
(Discharged with catarrh)
He was listed as:
* Hospitalized 11/15/1861 (place not stated)

Residence was not listed; a 38 year-old Carpenter.
Enlisted on 4/18/1861 as a Private.
On 4/18/1861 he mustered into "E" Co. VA 4th Infantry
He was discharged for disability on 7/20/1862
He was listed as:
* Detailed 8/22/1861 Manassas Junction, VA (As hospl steward)
* Hospitalized 11/23/1861 (place not stated) (With remittent fever)
* Returned 12/30/1861 (place not stated)

On 9/1/1861 he transferred into "E" Co. VA 4th Infantry
He died on 4/2/1862 at Staunton, VA
He also had service in:
