I am researching my ancestors civil war history. Most of them were with Confederate units in Virgina. One was with the 29th Va Inf Co. E and another was with 54th Va Regt Co. G (captured at battle of Nashville and taken to POW camp in Ohio). I did find that most of them were from Carroll County Virginia. I have several others in other units. I would like to know if anyone has any pictures of the uniforms worn by Virginia units. I would like to get a uniform and want to be as authentic as I can get. Any pictures or web links would be greatly appreciated.
