I stumbled across this site and was wondering if anyone had any additional information about him or what this army group would have done. Patrick was born in 1841, married to Mary E. "Molly" Harrison in 1865, and died in 1921. I believe he lived his whole life in the Surry/Southampton VA area.
Are there any pertinent military records that might help me? I've got a basic knowledge of genealogy, but I know nothing about military records. Thanks!
