Glad to share what I have. I'm guessing that the NC vet that you are referring to is Billy Mitchell. If you will send me your e-mail address, I'll send you a picture of his stone or better yet, look him up on Find A Grave, there is a picture of his stone. Here is the information I have on the members of the Stonewall Brigade with Montgomery County, IN connections after the war:

Braxton D. Cash b. 9/15/1839 d. 6/10/1899 52nd VA Inf and 2nd Co. Rockbridge Lt Art born is Vesuvius, Rockbridge Co., VA, buried at Crawfordsville Masonic Cemetery. He has no stone, but we are in the process of getting a military stone to honor him.

John Henry Coffman b. 7/18/1824 d.10//00/1904 Co I 4th VA Inf buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, Crawfordsville, IN, born in Botetourt Co., VA No stone, but it is ordered.,

William M. Foster b. 1838 d.1883 Co A 5th VA Inf buried Cornstalk Cemetery outside Ladoga, IN

Archibald W. Strickler b. 4/18/1840 d. 1/20/1914 2nd Co. Rockbridge Lt Art buried at Ladoga Cemetery, Ladoga IN born in Rockbridge Co., VA

William L. Strickler b. 11/11/1837 d. 2/7/1893 1st Co. Rockbridge Lt Art buried at Ladoga Cemetery, Ladoga, IN born in Rockbridge Co., VA

William Brown b.1842 d. 1882 Co L 5th VA Inf buried at Lowry Cemetery, Jamestown, IN

William P. Camden b. 1845 d. aft 1913 Co H 27th VA Inf. Lived in indianapolis after the war

Andrew J. Hobson b.1840 d. 1887 Co L 5th VA Inf buried at Lowry Cemetery, Jamestown, IN

William H. Wolfe Co E 5th VA Inf and 54th VA Inf

William H. Zimmerman Co D. 5th VA Inf
