Thanks for your reply.It's really something to have the original diary that was actually there at these places carried by my great-great grandad and I've tried to find all the places he mentioned,this was my reason for posting about Harrison's Landing.In September I came through that area and stopped at I believe Shirley plantation.I tried finding some of the places mentioed but I was lacking time to do much research.
