My 5th gr-grandfather Isham Blake had a brother Thomas Samuel Blake who "went to Tennessee." Charles would be just about right in age to be a son, with sons of war age. Sons named Thomas and Samuel fit nicely, too. Isham is well documented in the Revolution, and their
gg-grandfather Thomas Blake was a figure in Bacon's Rebellion in 1676. Now I find we had our own outfit in the Civil War!
