Thanks for the note. William Mangus was the older brother of my GGgrandfather John Mangus. I knew that he moved to Gage County, Neb., but that's about all I knew. I read in his sons bio that he and his parents traveled to Gage County in a covered wagon. I wonder if there is a SCV Camp there that might be active enough to place a memorial, military stone at his grave. Does anyone on the web-site have any connection in Nebraska?
