What was left of John Gordon's Corp was rear guard of the Confederate forces protecting the wagons at Double Bridges when Union forces under Humpheries attacked.Was the 13th Va .Infantry attached to Gordon at the time ? I cannot find order of battle for this action ? Lockett house is being restored by by Jimmy ?? who ownes property.He will live there .He is retired Dairy farmer whose farm you see on other side of creek.
