Hi I am interested in finding out about who served in this unit. I believe my mother's family has ties to this unit and I am looking for any documentation to the effect. I have letters from relatives who are now dead that state that Maj. Abner Harris was with Fitz-hugh Lee at the Battle of Bull Run. I have in my possession two signed telegrams dated 1901 from Fitzhugh Lee to my mother's grand father in regards to his impending marriage. I also have letters from Mary Custis Lee. I would like to match the details from the personal letter about my mother's grandfather to the unit. It was our understanding that our great-great grandfather was personally friends with Fitzhugh Lee and that they went to the academy together.
