I was trying to remember where I had seen references to 'Rodgers' in the 50th VA besides the OR; I did a litle digging around on the internet and found the name in Clement Evans', Confederate Military History: West Virginia (the West Virginia Chapters were written by Col. The Rodgers name is mentioned again two pages later on page 67 but, it may just be a paraphrase of the text in the OR.

Is it the convention within the printed Official Records to put later corrections inside square brackets ?
