If there is anyone out there who is a descendant of a member of Co. E, of the 42nd VA Inf, you may be interested to know that a new SCV camp has been established in Ladoga, IN, which was the site of the UCV camp called the Stonewall Jackson Camp #1 which met from the late 1800's to about 1920. The new camp will begin with 21 charter members and will be called the Dixie Grays. It will meet the 3rd Tues of each month, so if anyone is ever in Central Indiana visiting relatives, we would like to have you visit.
