Re: Graves of GA Confederates Killed at Brandy Sta

I have a correction to my 18 Apr 2008 posting. I was recently able to visit Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper and discovered that Pvt. Augustus F. Hardy's name is not listed on the Confederate monument erected on the mass grave there. I have also found out I was mistaken in my April 2008 posting when I stated that Pvt. Hardy was buried in Fairview Cemetery according to Robert A. Hodge's book, A Death Roster of the Confederate General Hospital at Culpeper, Virginia (1977). His grave may still be at Fairview somewhere or perhaps he is one of the 87 unknown soldiers buried in the mass grave.
