Family files at Ancestry.com show that John "Captain John" Henry Drummond [1831-1817] and Robert Augustus Drummond were sons of William and Mary Parker Drummond of Accomack County. No information is given regarding military service.

John H. Drummond appears on the 1910 Federal Census of Accomack County, Virginia, age 77, farmer, married to Elizabeth [2nd wife]. There is a line on the 1910 Census that reads:"Whether a survivor of the Union or Confederate Army or Navy". This column is blank.

There are no pension records on file for Drummond or a widow at the Virginia State Library.

Drummond may have served, but I can find no evidence. Maybe someone else can.
