Looking for information on William Booker, born in Botetourt or Roanoke County, VA. He died in Darlington, IN. His obituary indicates that he was a Confederate Veteran. He was born 4/29/1845 and died 5/29/1926. I can't find any unit for him. One of his relatives thinks that he was a brother of John Booker who was in Co K. 60th Reg. VA Inf. Would appraeciate any information on William Booker. If he is indeed a Confederate Veteran, he brings the number of Confederate Veterans who spent a significant amount of time here in Montgomery County, IN to 66. There are at least 60 buried here with more being discoverd all the time.
