I had posted for some info on a recently discovered relative of mine, Benjamin T Andrews. His headstone mentioned service in Co. C 41st Va Cav, and several of you were able to provide me with some information about this unit. There also came some info on the 62nd Mounted Infantry as well as possible service in the CS Navy.

Anyways, I was able to make a trip to the Library of Virginia to take a look at some of the records they had for Benjamin Andrews. However, the library had no records for the CS Navy. Does anyone know where those records may be?
Also, the Civil War Soldiers and Sailors System listed a Benjamin T Andrews in the 12th Va Inf, but I was unable to locate any info at the library for a Benjamin Andrews with that unit. I also looked into the Virginia Regimental History Series book for this unit, and didn't see him listed there either.
