I'm trying to assist a friend of mine research his family tree and discovered George Washington Terry aged 36 on the 1860 Census in Henry County Va. I'm wondering if anyone has the Virginia Regimental History Series for the 8th Virginia Cavaly. There is a George W Terry listed as a member of this unit. I realize it's probably a long shot, but I have been unable to locate any other records of service for a George W Terry from Virginia.
