I am looking for any source of information on the 25th Calvary of Virginia, also called the 27th Batallion Va. Calvary, Partisan Rangers, or Mounted Rifles, also known as Triggs Batallion Partisan Rangers.
My ancestor was George W. Seal ,who inlisted in Rose Hill Va. Sept. 27/1862 to a Captian T. S. Gibson, was captured in Jonesville Va. in 1863 and paroled from Rock Island Prison on Jan.17/1864.
