Thomas Watlington was my gggrandfather who enlisted in the Confederate Army in Danville, Virginia even tho he was from Rockingham County, NC in 1861 and was assigned to the 5th Virginia Calvary, Co. C. He was killed in action somewhere in northern Virginia. His widow's pention states he died on a march from Farquer County to Culpeper, Va. I have not been able to locate any more info on him or his family. Anyone that has anything at all on Thomas it would be greatly appreciated.
