Thank you so much for your kindness in replying. I had most of that but confirmation is a good thing too. I did not have the date of him being listed as POW. I did have that he was in an unmarked grave in Richmond. Do you have any idea how to find such soldiers if you have 152nd NY infantry Co A?
I was hoping that there might be at least that type of data on a headstone or cemetery records. As far as I know only 9 enlisted men died from his group at Drewry's Bluff so if they have that I at least have a chance of finding it.

It is a shame that so many died and a disgrace that so many of their remains still are unidentified but inevitable with such a war. Still sad though.
