Hi..I have a Joseph H. Wigley that died in the Chimborazo Hospital during the Civil War. Does anyone know if there would be a certain Cemetery they would have buried him in? He died Mar 1, 1863. He was in the 22nd Reg. Georgia Co. C. I have all his Civil War cards but they don't tell where he was buried. I have looked at a few online Cemeteries and he is not listed. One of his papers says Certificate # 228 but I am not sure what that means.
