Interesting side note on Pvt David Robinson as he was buried at the Rollins Family cemetary, where Privates John W. Rollins AND Austin Rollins
who enrolled in to the CSA the same day as your ancestor; Pvt.David Robinson in Winchester......I suspect these 3,who were all in the 39th VA Calvary Co.A and survived the war together were probably related or were great friends, due to fact Pvt David Robinson was buried in the Rollins family cemetary
As far as the 39th VA Cavalry, they went just about everywhere General Robt E Lee went,as they were his personal scout/bodyguard unit in the war.
Maybe your relatives may be able to shine additional light on your ancestors. Keep us posted. This info was referenced from the book by Robert Driver Jr. and Kevin Ruffner
