Omitted fron first post is the following. I went to West View Cemetery in New Castle,Craig Co.,Va. recently to photo some Confederate graves there. I had Thomas Oliver Scott-22nd Va. listed there. Could not locate his grave,if marked. However,I did locate an Oliver Scott,with military stone,which reads 36th Va. Perhaps he went by middle name and served in both units. Both units were from western Va.
