Alex L. Wiatt, in his book 26th VA Infantry, part of H. E. Howard's series, lists an M. W. Corr as a private in Company H. Corr is shown as having enlisted on 7 January 1865 and served until paroled at Appomattox CH, 9 April 1865.

Johnny L. Scott, in his book 34th VA Infantry same series, lists an M. Wingfield Corr as a member of Company K from a post-war roster only. Corr is listed as died in King and Queen County 22 February 1919 and buried in the Schackleford Chapel Church.
