The Virginia in the Civil War Message Board

Re: Photo of 16th PA Volunteer Infantry

With a lot of digging, I found out the photo of the 16th PA Volunteer Infantry "Company B", was not of the civil war but
was the Spanish-American War of 1898. The group of soldiers were recruited out of New Castle, Lawrence County, PA. But I'm
still interested in finding out about the photographer, a M. W. Tennant of Newport News, Virginia. I would like to find out
how we came to receive this beautiful photo in the family. Thanks
