Do you know a first name of the man you are looking for? As I've found out with my research (looking for collateral relatives by the name Wigginton, of any spelling), many times you need to be extremely creative with names. What spelling variations have you come across for this man? As I typed this, I am looking thru the listing for the 12th Cavalry and think I may have found something for you!
