* Most of the members of this Regiment had previously served in the 1st Regiment Virginia Partisan Rangers (subsequently the 62nd Reg't Va. Inf.]

** D. G. Armstrong was enrolled by J. Armstrong. I believe this to be the same Lt. Armstrong who enrolled Edward. This Lt. is not shown on the regimental rolls. Could have been William
