Carter Littlepage Stevenson, Jr. (September 21, 1817 – August 15, 1888) was born in Fredericksburg, Virginia, died in Caroline County, Virginia and buried in Fredericksburg. He served in the antebellum U.S. Army attained the rank of Major General and was a division commander in the Western Theater. I am looking for any letters, diaries, journals, reminiscence, or newspaper articles by or about Major General Stevenson. I am doing research on him and his division.
