47th Virginia Infantry

My great, great, grand uncle, James F. Durvin (sometimes spelled Dervin) enlisted as a private in Company H, 47th Virginia Infantry at Fredericksburg, VA on 25 March 1862 (or 1861?), and died of typhoid fever on 19 May 1862 at the Chimborazo Hospital in Richmond, VA. He is buried at the Oakwood Cemetery in Richmond. He was originally from Louisa County, Va, and I can find him there in the 1850 census - but I just found him in the 1860 census in Caroline County, VA., so he must have moved there between 1850 and 1860. I have seen information stating that Co. H of the 47th VA Infantry was formed mostly by Marylanders and was known as Zarvona's Zouaves. I have also seen Co. H listed as the Port Royal Guards and reverences to the third Co. H. Were there more than one Co. H of the 47th VA Infantry during its history? Any information on my ancestor before, during, and after the Civil War would be appreciated. Please e-mail me directly at durvin@verizon.net
