Trying to find out information about Verlin, James and Sebron Leatherwood. All were brothers from Haywood Co., NC. Enlisted in Co L, 16th NC Inf. in spring of 1861. Verlin and James died at Hot Springs, Bath Co., VA in the fall of 1861 along with their father, John B. Leatherwood, who had come to take care of them. Sebron survived. James, Verlin and John are supposed to be buried in Hot Springs....trying to find out where.
