Views at earthworks near Lynchburg

Back in '68, my sly ol' pappy managed to purchase a couple hundred acres that nobody else seemed to want across the river from Lynchburg. This was the location of a former V-C Fertilizer Co. plant. The tract was so large because the company had to purchase a huge (180 acre) buffer zone because of damage from plant emissions back in 1902. They had no use for the 180 acres except as a buffer zone and nobody seemed to know or care that some pristine civil war earthworks were located on it. Anyway, I have cleared it over the years and the following is a link to some photos my wife took recently. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=250813&id=744837671&l=acf2f2016e cl If anybody wanted to visit the site, I would be glad to take them.
