Recent research indicates that Moses Eudaley never transferred to the 22nd Virginia Infantry Battalion, but that he served in and died as a member of Dearing's Artillery Brigade. Possilby wounded on the 3rd and died on the 4th.

For whatever reason he, unlike most of the Company E, was transferred to an artillery unit after the 2nd Virginia Artillery was broken up.

My guess is that he was transferred with the men from both Company C & F of the 2nd Va. Art. His only service record is as a member of the 2nd Va. Art. Alternate spellings; Eudaly, Eudaley, Eudaily, Eudailey.
