I just saw your message. I had two 3rd cousins who were privates in the Dixie Grays. One was My 3rd cousin was William MANGUS. I don't know anything about his service. The other cousin was William's brother, John MANGUS. All I know of him is that when the regiment surrendered at Appomattox, he was the only member of Company E present to answer the roll. If you have any more information on either of them, I'd love to see it.
