The Oakwood Cemetery records known to date have never been transcribed and published. The records exist but are in fairly poor condition. The City of Richmond manages Oakwood (also very poorly). So little to nothing has been done. Several different factions of the SCV have taken whacks at it. The latest word is that the SCV group involved now is also reportedly working to transcribe the records, but nothing that Im aware of has been published or completed with it, or when it might be. Oakwood is indeed the missing link for many researching the dead buried around Richmond...
