Most likely there were probably a number of them, particularly in the early stages of the war. Majority of Companys were initially recruited and mustered in a given county/community. Thus typically may have fathers, sons, brothers, cousins, and uncles all enlisting together. One can review muster rolls and commonly find several to sometimes a dozen or more bearing a related single surname.
