Sept. & Oct., 1862, dated Nov. 18, 1862 stationed at Camp Lee near the city of Richmond.

Acted as Conscript Guard until the 18th of March when it was ordered on quarantine on account of a case of Small Pox in the company. We remained on quarantine till the 5 of April when it was order to Chafins Bluff, a distance of 11 miles, after getting to Chafins Bluff, the order was countermanded. We were ordered to Ft. Powhatan, Prince George County, Va. to man heavy guns. We marched from Chafins Bluee, Via Petersburg to Fort Powhatan, a distance of 48 miles. The Company is now at the Fort.
