He may be related - do you know where William B. enlisted? Looking for a clue as to where he lived . . . There are so many Harrison's from Prince George County and Charles City County (along both sides of the James River) - many with the same first name - that it's difficult to sort them out. :( My g-gf enlisted when he was quite young, was wounded and captured near Culpeper, sent to Point Lookout, MD and later traded for release of Union soldiers. After some time in the hospital, he returned to his unit and was either wounded again or possibly the first wound sent him back to the hospital. (His service records just say 'gunshot wound' each time.) I believe he was at Appomattox and then went home to Prince George County to marry his sweetheart and work his farm. He died in the summer of 1924 and my g-gm filed for a CW pension. I have copies of that application.
