I would appreciate any information on my g-g-grandfather, Thomas Peyton Marston, M.D., of James City County, VA, who enlisted 24 Jun 1861. While he originally may have served with the 3rd VA Cavalry, it appears he served in Company H of the 5th VA Cavalry from 1 May 1862. I assume that his training as a physician was of significant help to his fellow soldiers. Thank you. - Scott O. Middleton
